Parasites and fungi

Scabies (psore, psora)

Scabies is a skin disease caused by a parasite. The parasite burrows under the skin to deposit its eggs and excrement, causing intense itching, especially at night.

Crabs (pubic lice)

Crabs are small insects that live and reproduce primarily in pubic hair. They are easily transmitted through sexual contact. Itching on the hairy parts of the body indicates their presence.

Candida / Mycosis

Candidiasis is a fungal infection most often caused by the widespread yeast candida albicans. Fungi are naturally present on the skin and mucous membranes of all human beings. In the case of a weakened immune system, however, they can multiply very rapidly and cause itching.
